Default Stereo code

Morning peeps, still waiting for the sales to supply the original hand book, but have had work done, so now the stereo is locked as I don't have the code. Seen loads of ads for retrieving the code, so other than taking it out, any easier way, that wont cost a fortune?

Seems I was talking Clingon, I havn't asked for a specific code or anybody for one, all I have asked is if there is a way of obtaining the stereo code for my car, without incuring a cost. Yes Ihave read the sticky, but sorry, I don't think I need to be treated like a leaper for asking a genuine Q, & being jumped on.

As far as i know, the only way is to take the unit to Fords, who may or may not still provide a service of supplying a code for your unit. Yes, it comes with a cost.
