Default Capri engine choices???

I have a 2.8i capri and not sure if I should put the 2.8 back in or go for something else that is more tunable or has more power out of the box...

anyone have any suggestions? Or does anyone know what's involved fitting a 2.9 cosworth V6 from a Scorpio?

Be a shame to put less than a six in. What about a 3.0 v6 from a jag S type. Big rover v8 would sound awesome but not fast.

The cosworth v6 is a good call and i imagine fairly easy to fit.

How much effort do you want to put in to doing a conversion?

If your pockets are deep enough there are various options. Depends on if you want to keep it fairly straight forward which could be a twin turbo cosworth v6 which will use readily available Ford parts or as others have suggested go down the Ford v8 route which involves more work but would give effortless v8 grunt and a lovely twin exhaust burble as in the youtube video!!

easiest option is to put a 24v BOA/BOB in - then if you get bored turbo or supercharge it
