Hello,

I have a Sytec Competition Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator that is making a screaming high pitched sound when the engine is running. when I say screaming, it really is very loud.

Any idea what would be causing it, it is brand new? It isn't the fuel pumps etc. as they are in the back of the car.

My initial thought is that it is an airlock or similar.

They will do that if there's an airlock. Can be a pain to get rid of.

any idea how I can get rid of it?

i noticed that there are some tight angles in the route the hose takes, could that be amplifying the problem?
