Default New clutch, now holding back

I recently had a new clutch and Dual mass fly wheel fitted to my Mondeo 3.0 petrol, But now its not running well. It feels like it's really holding back with a heavy droning sound. normally, if in third gear about 40 - 45 mph and given heavy acceleration I'd be off like a rocket. But no!! a droning sound and the felling its holding back.

Any ideas please

Did it start doing this immediately after the clutch was replaced?

Why not speak to whoever done the work, as there is a good chance it is related.

Thank youfor your replies everyone. Mr Clutch did the work. They've said that they'vedouble check the procedure of changing the clutch and nothing would of beendone to effect the loss of power, when the cars under load. (Just a coincidence).
It’s nowbarely drivable.. How about the catalytic converter… being blocked, Is that possible.

I would go back to mr clutch and say you are taking it elsewhere for a diagnosis, are they happy to pay the bill should they find something that has been caused by the clutch change.

If it was fine before and it started doing it immediately after, I can't see it would be anything else.

Just because they didnt "deliberately" do anything that would have caused this, most certainly doesnt mean they didnt do anything either accidentally, naively, or through stupidity that might be causing it

If it is as you report and the problem is pretty much immediately after they finished the work....it would seem like too much of a coincidence for them not to have caused it one way or another.
It is possible they are innocent here, but your description of events make it unlikely.
