Hi people
I'm installing a EFR turbo on my Sierra Sapphire does anyone know what modifications are required to the down pipe obviously the end need cutting off and the v band clamp adaptor needs welding on but does anyone know how far to cut it back and if the down pipe needs extending,
Cheers Si

What size exhaust are you running? Mine is 7064 but Nortec did 3 inch right through...if adapting an existing exhaust surely you need to sort the v clamp end and then just cut and adapt the down pipe to match up where it all meets?

Ive just had this done on my Escos (im 7670) I used a new mongoose full system, in the end it took some getting right, my down pipe was lengthened as the efr sits higher, and obviously the v band welded on the end, think my guy chopped off the end and put on the V band first, chopped downpipe in 2 bits going down, we had the exhaust mounted then basically took it from there, my down pipe was altered as it runs under the car as it wasn't great also I wanted the exhaust to sit snug up in the floor pan as normally cosworth's hang low
