I had a replacment screen fitted on my bmw e61 a few weeks ago and have since been on holiday, I've just come to move the car and noticed the OBD flap open and noticed the port has clearly been accessed. I know this because I put it behind the dash due to my last e60 being stolen via the port,
The question I have is does the screen fitter need to access it to reset the auto lights and screen etc? Or could it have been someone whilst I was away

Ive done quite a few E61 screens and I've never had to use the OBD port. The only time I've seen OBD ports used is when the screen has a camera and needs a calibration done on it.
