Default Quick OFAB loom wire help

On the OFAB loom there is a single wire with a ring connector on the end. On a Zetec turbo build, where does it go?

Cheers

If the wire is brown then I would hazard a guess at that being an earth.

Yeah mate it's brown. It's currently not connected. Not really sure if it matters or not?

If it's brown with a factory looking ring terminal then it will be a ground to chassis. Something tells me those old looks had more than one earth and one didn't seem to matter if it wasn't connected. It's been some years since I played about with an ofab/ofac loom, but if it was me I would connect it to ground, as it wouldn't be there if it wasn't needed.

The ring part is grooved so I reckon you could be right about it being to a ground earth. For some reason I had it marked up as a temperature gauge wire but it was a long time ago I labelled the loom up. I Had a look on the various ofab wiring info pages online and nothing comes up for this ring wire.

Where abouts in the loom is it? I thought that the water temp sender had a 'L' shaped push on plug but it could have been changed at some point. This would appear near the injector and coilpack legs in the loom.
