Window Tints
Hi,
Ive just had some window tinting done by a friend whos a profesional sign writer.. it all looks ok from a distance but their are a few tiny bubbles on the rear window of my mk6 escort.. near the edges..
he reckons in time they will dissapear if its out in the sun enough.. is this true? or does it just get worse?
what are your thoughts on this?
thanks

Dont prick them! They do disapeer! I had mine done last weekend and on the drive home, I thought, what have I paid for. Within a couple of days thay had all gone. I was told not to wind the windows down for 48 hours or even touch them.
Give it at least that but dont prick them whatever you do. Any queries go back to him.

Dont prick them!.. i had mine done by TINT - R he said the small bubbles are nothing to worry about.. but if u have a heated rear window.. dissconnect it.. because if in use.. the heat will make the air get wider and it will expand the film.. causing bigger bubbles to appear.. i had to leave all my windows up and not use the Heating system for 5 days.. i did have small bubbles in the back.. but after time they do dissapear.. Sun does help it slighty as it drys it off quicker.. but even if its shitty britain weather they will go down.. be patient m8..
