can anyone help.
I understand it is possible to get a new vin plate under the bonnet, but can you get it stamped up correctly too, its for another car i brought and it is all genuine with loads of paperwork, it's had a previous new slam panel and the vin plate has got destroyed.

There was a thread somewhere just the other day on this very subject Clive, but can't remember where it was.
I think I read that if you took all the documentation into your local Ford dealer they could get them reproduced for you.

my ford dealer know me well and don't need to see the car. but I just need to ask them if they can supply the right hand colour plate with the colour code etc on

Deffo get a genuine plate from Ford if you can, TAG plates and the like, although very good quality don't always tend to supply the correct vin plate for the year of car as there's very subtle difference on different years.
