can anyone help please this is the first time i have bought a mondeo but have found that when i lock my car up the rear drivers side door remains unlocked depite numerous attemps i ended up locking it up from the inside just to keep it secure .

Could be a worn lock solenoid inside the lock mechanism.

New door latch required. There about 100 quid new.
