Hi all I have had some good advice on the site, so being a springmaker of over 25yrs I am going to lower my mk6 van myself , putting the leaf springs in a press and lowering to a good height I will be happy with . Looked at a few vids on the tube , beleive it or not I haven't had to do this in all the yrs springmaking I am a flat spring maker by trade , but will be interested to see the result on my van .

 

If it's anything like a Mk3 Escort van you can move the axle from under the springs to over them giving a big drop in height.
