Default Ford after market car stereo

Has any of you got one of these stereos? If so are they any good.

They seem to have a good spec to them.

Looks like a bloody good deal that mate. I remember when tape decks were that expensive lol. I'd have to get one with sat nav built in. I motd a Toyota Yaris the other day that had a similar stereo fitted made by Tom Tom and was sat nav and radio. Looked aftermarket but owner said it was the higher spec Yaris and they come with that

They just seem too cheap. They would be ideal for me especially the dvd player would come in handy for my little man.

They look like cheap crap but until youve bought one and tried it for a while you never know. Personally I wouldnt touch one, i think at that price the quality of the components may be pretty poor.

It does say in the listing that its made from components from sony and other stereo manufacturers.

Only the dvd drive.

Years ago I worked at halfords and the amount of faulty ripspeed dvd headunits that came back was unreal. I cant imagine that this unbranded 'does everything you can imagine unit' is going to be any more reliable, but it's your money and I could be wrong, it could be a bargain. If you do buy it then let us know how it goes.

For me it's a bit like buying a tv from Lidi or Aldi, I'm sure it would work but I'd imagine the interface would be a bit clunky and I'd rather either spend a bit more or go secondhand and get one by a reputable brand.

My sony 6 disc cd player fooked up. So i bought another second hand one and this one wont play cds. Im sick of sending money on second hand head units.

I might just bite the bullet and get one of these.

VW speakers lets it down big time lol vw shit I'm not a sound system person but dose sound rubbish. We have a really good stereo shop near us called John Kleis so may up grade the fronts as he said a 3dr golf has its fronts as the mains and a really good quality set would transform it
