Default MK1 FRS Valve SPRING ID?

Hello there guys

Can someone help me ID the Inlet/ Exhaust Valve Springs please?

8 have black paint on and are thicker material and much stiffer, 8 have green/yellow paint on and are thinner material and not as stiff!

I put them all in a box together as I was planning new cams and double springs but wound my neck in on the power target and now wish I had paired them up with everything else lol

Was the black paint on there originally Red and the stiffer springs are for the exhaust which matched the valve stem seal colour code? Or do the stiffer springs help to carry the additional weight of the bigger inlet valve?

Hope someone can help me out!

Thanks in advance

Matt

Ok mate thanks for the info! So forgetting the length difference the exhaust is stiffer! You think this is something to do with the VVTI on the ST or a zetec thing?

Thanks for the input dude most appreciated!

Does anyone else have any info at all on FRS valve springs ?

All the best

Matt
