Default Hello!

Hey there, decided to join up the other day and just got round to saying hello!

Im Dan from Cleethorpes. Swapped a 92 Eunos Miata the other week for a 1.8cvh Sierra Estate as I fancied a little more room. Usually join some sort of forum when I get a car, (FFOC with my First car, Civinfo when I had an 8th Gen Type S) as I find them a huge wealth of knowledge and usually some nice folk to have a chat with!

I'll probably be lurking in the shadows of things for sale as I have a list of things I need/would like to do to the estate, so thats that!

So yeah...Cheers!

Your estate needs a Coyote engine.

Thanks for the warm welcome everybody. To be honest the picture does the car justice but its something to work on and I really like it as my daily driver. Theres a few things it could do with such as a new rear bumper and new drivers wing mirror as both are broken and rough, alloys, lowered suspension and then the tracking sorting, an exhaust or at least a back box, a heater matrix flush to see if its blocked as the heaters blow cold and a good scrub inside! Other than that..it oozes character and I like it! Fitted a new headunit the other day and a sub for a little bit of bass as I only have front speakers as the speakers in the boot door don't appear to work because of a chewed up wire in the rubber connector but oh well!

Cheers!

Cool, you should get a thread going on it in the resto section of the forum if and when you do work to it.

Many thanks

Lowering is on the list, keeping my eyes peeled if any lowering components pop up for sale as I understand the rear isn't straight forward and theres a few different setups. Hopefully one that's used and cheap so I know its right and not breaking the bank Alloys would probably be your typical BBS mesh kind of thing, although not sure on either keeping them silver, or going for a gold centre with a silver lip.

Pray tell what these bits are? If I'm interested then I would certainly pay shipping for it across a pond.

Much appreciated. Only noticed the panel was snapped the other day whilst looking at the battery. The handle on the other hand rattles every time you close and open the door

Cheers!
