Default MK5 escort control arm bushings

I need to replace (soon) one of the front nearside control arm bushings. While I'm doing that I might as well replace the other bushing. Does anyone know if both of the bushings are the same? From pics online they look to be the same but searching for the bushings online seems to throw up some confusion.

Anyone done this before and know the answer?

Also, is it a pig to get them out and would it be easier just to buy a replacement control arm. Seems like a waste to throw a perfectly good control arm for the sake of a few bushings

Cheers

I personally would buy a pair of arms. That way you get two new bushes and a new ball joint on both sides and you won't need to mess around with pressing bushes out.

Most pattern part mk5 & mk6 suspension arms are absolute shite and don't last that long.

I think in a single year I had 3 sets on my TD escort.
