Default DIY oven - fao: electricians?

I'm looking to make an oven with an internal size of 500mm deep x 500mm wide x 500mm high.

I'm hoping to be able to use the heating element/thermostat from a fan assisted oven.

The oven body would be made from sheet stainless, what would I use to insulate the oven? Also, how does the element work and would be able to use an element from a smaller oven.

I need a constant 200 c for 15 mins at a time.

could use insulation wool or brick to insulate it

a heating element is just a coil of wire his give off energy when current is applied

dont see why you couldnt use a heating element from a small oven

what you trying to heat up?

I'd go down the local council tip and get an old oven, pull it to bits and see how it's put together. Get a couple and salvage the insulation etc from them. No,i'm not a gipsy.

Curing powder coating, I'm planning on starting up a little business, I've got all the coating gear and have been testing this morning with it.

Good results but I need to perfect curing.

I'm planning on a two stage curing process, Firstly give the coat 2 mins under a IR lamp to settle any dust and aid surface flow, then place into a convection oven and cure completley.
