Default N/A 1.6 CVH

Hi this is my first post here so hope I do everything right.
Im currently piecing together an upgrade 1.6 cvh for my orion I've found a brand new block straight from fords in the crate (lucky and excited about that!)
I also have a polished/ported head with fast road cam and solid lifters and a set of twin DHLA 40s. If all goes well I'm hoping it turns out really well. My question is" would I be better running a different/upgrade distrbutor" or would the standard 1 be good? TIA

Standard is fine IMO (if in good condition - easily rebuilt), but get it recurved to suit the engine.

If not, go over to coilpack and igniton management like MegaJolt to really get the best out of what you build

As above, Lucas (black cap) or brown/red Bosch (my preference of all 3). Agree to avoid the Ford/Motorcraft one tho
