Default Disklok modifications

I have bought a Disklok and have seen posts on here saying to get it modified with two plates welded across the back and round the hinge.

Does anyone have a picture of how the hinges need to be modified?

Any one know of any machine/engineering shops near York that could carry out the modifications?

Cheers.

They definitely need modified. Guy I used to know back in the day used to have a spare key to his dad's Renault 25 turbo I think it was. The big one anyway! Didn't have the key for the disk lock but 2 seconds with a flat head screw driver and it was off and he used to take the car out and kick fuck out of it then park it back up in the early hours and put the disk lock back on and his dad never had a clue

Thanks for the replies. I will take that picture to a local machine shop so they know what to do.
