I noticed this saff the other day so i just had a nosey at it.

Anything RS is better than an isa nowadays Glenn. See it's got the rouse seats in it aswell. Can't stand them. Just like mk5 3i seats in leather lol.

Take it yours is definitely a keeper now lad

 

I did some work on this car about 2 months ago, I bought some parts off the owner (he owns the garage) and helped him out mainly with advice as he was doing some recommisioning to it, yes it is a tidy car

Or right cool. Looking at the mot history for 2 of the tests the mileage is the same. The car must of stayed in the mot garage.

 

The car is not from 1998. Ford stopped building them in 1992.

 

Strange that it has no correct VIN plate either.

The plate fitted where the chassis plate should go is a pre 1980 VIN plate!!!!

 

Nice to see a garage/trader putting a reasonably sensible price on it, rather than most on ebay which are £25k etc lol

Would look miles better with door mouldings back on - imo the Saff's really need them.

 

I looked up the mot history and for 2 mots the milage was the same. I wonder if a garage owner had it and for a year and the car didnt go anywhere.


I like saffs without the door strips. But i would rather have them fitted. I think if i was buying the car i would want a set fitted before i bought it.

Looks like a 2wd timing belt cover.

 

I looked at the pics and immediately thought, 'no don't like it' but I think it's mainly just the lack of mouldings that makes it look wrong

Oh yeah, and the horrid number plates!

 

Wrong horrible wheels , no mouldings , wrong seats and still 15k ? Some people need to change drug dealers .

I dont like them without the mouldings. Espcially when you see them advertised as being 100% original and never painted (i know this one doesnt say that, but see it quite often).
