Default Advice wanted bmw 320d 2005

My bm has been burning a bit more than normal oil lately but then yesterday I was driving and car took off at high speed rev-in the head of herself could not get it stopped.. black smoke everywhere! !.. finally got it stopped and when starting now there is no power and white smoke. . Assumed the turbo went but it is actually fine.. has anyone any ideas ?? The engine sounds terrible when running like a tractor and there is thick white smoke everywhere. . Help😡

Sounds like the turbo has let go causing the engine to run on, could have bent a rod or caused piston damage.

Last car I stripped (Mk5 golf gt tdi)after running on had 2 bent rods unfortunately.

2005 320d,not worth fixing if it's needing a new engine, doesn't sound like you're going to save it by the symptoms you have described

A lad i know his work mate had a 320D and his did the same. It started reving on its own. He got out the car and just waited for the engine to go bang.

Default running on oil

if you have much calmness you can stick it in 4/5th and stall it

if you have the gonads slice through an i/c pipe....after first donning ppe lol
