Keith G666 had some abomination of a DV that looked like a small building. When it went off it scared people in the next village. Ł300 for something that does fook all was a little worrying. Chatter sounds a whole load better mate and is so much easier to obtain.

Dump valves are not there to give you more performance.

Can get a trumpet type of d/v, these are about Ł200 each are are know to be very loud.

For looks i would have the Spec R one.

I assumed whe he said an answer for loudness that he meant one with as little loudness as possible so as not to make himself look like a 17 year old chav twat.

Obviously i was wrong though!

a bailey one is as good as any.............as for those people that have a disregard for the purpose of a dumpvalve, the want to try picking the front nut out of the air filter and pay to have a new comp wheel to be fitted, because of stalling a turbo running 30psi and not having a left handed threaded shaft...yes the front nut does come off......thats why you fit a left handed threaded shaft on high boost turbo's

chav i might be...........but i believe chatter=shatter and the cossie is dear enough to run without taking risks..................and to add, if your running big enough boost they dump and chatter at the same time

if you want noise, get a rs500 cooler and a cone filter, ther deepest best sounding chatter will always turn heads more than a dv and you wont lose performance for it,looks better than some weird silver bellend coming off your boost pipes too!

I've just driven my Cossie home after having a dump valve fitted for the first time, and I definitely approve of the "gay" noise

hi mate

I personally dont use one on my 3dr they makes the car slower on the gear change because they release all the pressure from the intake plelume

I would use a recycling one as i know they work

if you are useing a t34 or less you don't need one
