Default Scrapyard between hitchin and Welwyn

I drove past a scrappy on the b656 between hitchin and Welwyn a couple of days ago and just wondering if anyone on here knows anything about it like is it open or not I only caught at the last minute going past

You are right there - think they even have the Flintstones car



I remember getting parts there for my 103E Pop back in the 70's - I guess much of what I saw then has turned to dust.

they got rid of around 90% of the car side and don't have as much as they used to back in the day the truck side took over quite a bit of the space. Every so often they have something interesting in but its getting rarer.

Not much in the car side now has been mentioned but on the bright side the B656 is good for a bit of man foot.

Depends on what you're expecting to find, nothing modern will be in there, but there is some absolute classics at times

Dont speak to kenny though, he's a cock, theres been proper arguments before now. lol

its worth a look, there is also another one down in dunstable on the out skirts that lets you walk around and look at the cars and see if what you want is there.

as said, used to be loads of hidden gems but they had a big clear out.
