Default Ford ST or Volvo 2.5 5-cylinder engine

Has anyone ever used one of these in a rear or all wheel drive configuration?
Or do you know if a Sierra 4x4 MT75 and sump would fit?

Use a volvo m90 gearbox for rwd, i'm in the process of fitting 1 rwd to an escort,
Sump is a bit tricky, either need to shorten a 6 cylinder sump or go custom as far as i know

Sump? Engine is 5cyl so longer, highly doubt anything would fit from an older ford as its Volvo.

Volvo S80 and Ford Kuga used the 5 pot in an AWD configuration.

Didn't they use a transverse engine layout?

Not surprised really, they aren't common, a quick search on ebay throws up less than 10! I think it's because it seems it was only available on the highest spec kuga.

They did the 5 pot in focus,mondeo,galaxy,s-Max and kuga. Seen a few kuga's,1 s-Max and a couple of mondeos. The mpg is quite comical on the s-Max's.
