Default Escort van help

Hi guys just bought a 52 escort van looking at doing it up can anyone tell me how easy it is to put a escort turbo engine in and what else will I need out of the escort in order to make running thanks

You are probably better off getting a converted ZVH engine using the turbo (and top end from Mk4) and the bottom end from a Zetec 1.8 or 2.0 engine. I think you can check Burton Power on modifications parts, i.e. mating gasket and oil feed pipe (need to research on that more).


I believe that I seen someone trying to shift a similar engine on eBay/Gumtree for the last few months now in Harrow.

Assuming that its a Turbo petrol engine you want and not a TD to replace a standard diesel
