Don't buy sealey total junk. The best ones for commercial use are powervamp. Expensive but they jump start up 15 litres all day long

I've only used two and they've both been snap on and both were superb.

I've had a Sealey one for over 15 years, never a problem with it.

If using for a winch, get a big one though.

We are sealey agents at work and they always try and fob us off with there stuff it's junk. Not suited to a busy workshop ok it maybe fine at home. We had 2 12/24v jump packs and they were crap each went back under warranty about 4 time. Wouldn't start Fook all on 24 volt and couldn't power a tail lift iver doing a trailer service. In the end they gave in and got 2 powervamp ones

Thanks for the replies, will probably push the boot out for a snap on one then, reason I mentioned the winch (only a cheap boat type one) is I read some boosters like to see a minimum voltage first before jurking out the juice!

Many thanks

We bought 6 Clarke 12/24v ones at work, 4 of them are fooked, they either don't take a charge or have no output. Buy cheap, buy twice!

Clore JNC660 is well regarded (if you can find one)

SIP also do some good ones and they have a website with pretty decent offers.

The small snap on one is pretty good for its size but having used them I'm sure they must be something to do with Clore.

Worth a look on the SIP website (Google SIP jump pack) they do two types, pro and regular. I use their regular 1600 one at work and it's nicely made and seems decent enough.

I did a lot of research after having the small snap on one and without doubt Clore JNC are the best regarded compact jump packs.
