Hi all, a question about the distributor body on a three door, is it the same as 2wd/4wd as the replacement angled cap I bought does not seem to fit properly.

Thanks for any help.

The caps are a straight forward direct swap over,
So either should fit , so if its not fitting its possibly the wrong cap
If swapping from straight to angles or vise versa you need to swap the ht leads as wellto the matching type

Thanks for reply, no just replacing my original 3 door angled cap for another non original angled cap. looking at other cosworth distributors it looks like the cap sits inside the base. My original cap sit over the the distributors base.
This is why I ask if they differ?

Cheers.

So the three door must be different then. Anyone know where I can get a cap that fits a 3 door.

Cheers.

They are all the same. The later ones have a steel shield around the outer making it "look" different, but fitment is identical.

All you need to do is hold the 2 caps together and check the lugs are in the same place.
