Default Radio codes

I see, threads asking for radio codes are not allowed, but how do I go about getting my 2006 Fiesta radio to work again after disconnecting the battery?

you can ask how to input the code into the radio, but not for the actual code itself

you could go to ford with the reg number and they may give it to you for free, or they may charge you for the privilege

or it could be in the service book

or you can buy the info from ebay

but you can't ask here, which is why you can't ask here, and because you can't ask here you won't get an answer here either

You still have to reconnect the battery first.

On mine if the code was for example 1234 I press button 1 once, button 2 twice and so on and then button 5 to confirm.

I thought it would be obvious to any half-wit that the reason I bothered to type out a post was that I didn't have the right code. But there you go, there's no controlling who reads what one writes.

I thought it would be obvious to any half wit that there's a rule on the forum to "not ask for radio
Codes" but then u mention that in your first post! You joined up to ask a question that's against the rules and then start calling people "a prick" and all sorts! U really expect help after that?

I didn't ask for a code, can you read English I wonder? I asked how I should to go about getting my radio to work again as I obviously didn't have the code !! Your advice was, "put the code in." A smart alec waste of energy, a bit like a prick, I thought.

Yes I can read English very well, in fact I can read it that well I am willing to offer you lessons as you obviously need them. So you didn't ask for a code then? And how were you going to turn your radio back on without a code? U were chancing your arm, get over it, u just joined up to a forum to ask one question and then cause loads of problems. Why don't u stop being a tight ass and go and buy the code from ford like everyone else

No I didn't ask for a code. Read it again, I simply asked for advice on how to get my radio working as I didn't have the right code. Some people have given good, and much appreciated, helpful advice, in private messages, which I am very grateful for and which a forum should be all about, and some are just out to ridicule others who have less knowledge on the subject than themselves by making remarks such as, "put the code in."

Why did you get all upset when I said you were a prick then? That was fun too. Typical troll I suppose, love dishing it out but mustn't be offended.

ok if you want a code, it is really easy to find the information you want for free, I will even point you in the right direction.

www.google.co.uk

you will have to do a bit of googling, but I found the software needed in less than 5 minutes.

Thanks for your help but just spent ages going down dead ends. My serial starts with a V (V063088) and apparently no one has the code for it.

and have you figured out how to input it too?

normally the code is entered via the 1 2 3 4 buttons and then it's either the 5 button to enter it as the code or something else

if it's flashing then it might be locked
