As a previous avid Dinky collector 200 of these were produced for Bentalls workers. They are mega rare & only 6 are known to exist (This may be another not sure). One sold for Ł12750 back in 1994 but it was in better condition. I guess Ł5k+ as a value unless there's a bidding war. Its not a record for a single Dinky that stands at Ł19750. A trade box of 6 early vans sold for Ł35000 at auction. Its a crazy World I once paid Ł54 for a Dinky Foden lorry Knew it was mega rare colour & sold it at Auction for Ł2500.

surprised how much some of them go for. I used to have quite a few when I was younger but a house move meant they disappeared

Sweet collections! I had loads of toy cars when I was younger, a lot bought from car boot sales and what not. Don't think I ever had much dinky though, might be worth going in the attic for a look though, never know what could be up there.

Nice some early stuff there. I collected 1948/1959
had all the saloon cars between 1948/1958 (104 ) but only one colour of each also all the Racing cars & sports cars. Saw the Top UK collection go at auction for Ł750000. He had at least one model of every Dinky toy castings made.
