Default Front mount intercooler

Hi guys, can anyone tell me if the front mount intercooler is a straight bolt on part or do I need to jig about with the rad etc? Looking at a airtech model.

Car is off to Harvey Gibbs soon to have a complete rebuild with new 200 block etc and 390bhp build, and he needs me to source a intercooler and breather kit.
Looking on eBay at the intercoolers and it's a minefield! Lol

Got 1 on mine don't know the make or full size but the back of the headlights have been cut away to make it fit. Think it was either that or put the smaller headlights in

Yes Martyn 500 style intercooler should bolt straight in.

Airtec with 70mm core fits with standard fans. I think anything bigger requires slim fans as space gets tight.

I fitted one to my saff with no problems. The captive nuts are already in the chassis leg.

If i remember rightly i had to drop my radiator down to get the intercooler to fit in first.
