The wipers came on, so unless it was raining the driver definitely had abit of a moment and clipped the wiper stalk (we've all done it when trying to rescue a wayward back end
)

We've all had moments when things haven't quite gone according to plan. Unfortunately sometimes you hit something in the process of trying to recover it. Any accident you can walk away from is a good one regardless of the wreckage to your pride and joy.
