...how long do they usually take to come through after buying a car? its been 3 weeks....

 

Depends how quickly the seller sent them away. I never received docs for a car I bought from the auctions. Just phoned dvla and the silly buggers at the auctions filled out my address wrong but usually takes 2-3 weeks.

 

It can take up to 6wks during busier periods.

 

right enough, I guess he might have had them sitting around for a while before sending them off assuming he actually has!
