Default Bonnet pins

Are aerocatch the ones to have or is there any alternative worth looking at? And best place to get them from?

They certainly look a lot neater than normal bonnet pins! More secure too, if you get the locking ones. Probably get them on eBay for a good price...
I expect, one day, normal pins will be a MOT fails, as the would be a sharp edge!?

Aerocatches are, by far, the nicest looking.
Watch out for "bargain" Aerocatches from eBay, though. A lot of them are fake and snap as soon as you use them.

Really not sure now cos the bonnet I have is a full 'race' one so hardly any strength and no provisions for bolting at rear where the hinge would normally go so I'm going to have to use 4 pins. But I really don't want the bonnet looking cluttered with furniture. Wonder how bad the aerocatches would look painted body colour?
Fuck them cossie vents suit the s2 so much. I don't need them! I don't need them!!!!

Aerocatches look good painted, I quite like them black, though. An accent colour breaks the car up a little. They come in white as well.
I do love the cossie vents.
Speaking of bonnets, I need to give the painters a call about mine!
