Hi guys, got a mk6 escort 1.4 cvh, just changed the gearbox and now won't start, it was running perfectly before but now as I turn the key in the ignition the lights come on the dash but nothing else happens, so checked the fuses and fuse 13 keeps blowing everytime I change it and try to start the car, it a 20 amp fuse with a engine symbol just didn't no if anyone had any idea to what it could be.

could you have accidently reconnected the starter motor wrong, or nipped a wire between eng & box, just throwin some ideas at you

Nah double checked all the wiring especially the started motor wires

Have you pinched any wires in the bellhousing?

Nope not pinch any wires between the bellhousing.
