Default ACT sensor

What does it do? Apart from tell you ECU the temps what does it alter?

Also would it have any adverse affects if it didnt wrk on u booted it?

it tells the ecu how hot the charge air is, so that the ecu can adjust the fuel and ignition accordingly, going by what the mapper setup the car to aswell

You really have to have an air temp sensor,, this is one of the prime ways in which the ecu works out air density

Hmmm would it cause a hard to hesitate then pick up if the sensor fell off? lol and also maybe not give u normal amount of boost?

remember
14.7 to 1 is the fuel to air ratio for complete combustions (lambda 1)

this 14.7 to 1, is the ratio by mass not volume!


air temp had a direct relationship too air density (mass)

you really really need to sort the sensor out mate
it will have values stored which it will resort too if the sensor is fucked, TBH i dont know how the cossie range of ecus deal with things if things go wrong

I have cabled tied it for now!

Will have to sort the connector out! Can you remember wht the web site is for the auto electric connectors?
