Default Quick Question for MOT Testers

What are the rules regarding front indicator position?
If I were to put some indicators behind the grill here, would they be too close together?

Brilliant. Cheers Matt.
Makes life a bit easier. someone said they would be too far inboard but it sounded like bullshit to me. There's nowhere else really to fit them where they wont get knocked off in 5 minutes.

it's says something like must be the same hight and distance apart( makes sense really) you will also need side repeaters!

They will still get battered tho I've got a bo tailed disco with proper heavy duty light guards and still manage to smash headlights/indicators lol its all part of the fun!

http://www.motuk.co.uk/manual_140.htm

But that's only basic MOT, not construction and use, it will no doubt give more detailed info if you can find and decypher it.

Default fail

that should fail if tester is aware and perhaps bit pedantic
it could be said that it would be hard to differentiate between which side is flashing at night
and yes repeaters also after 85 iirc or therabouts

Cheers guys, I fitted them behind the grill anyway. I'll put it in for an MOT and if it fails I will add some extra ones on the corners. I'll take them back off after the test though as they wont last 5 minutes off road. Side repeaters are already fitted and working.
I only want to drive it 10 minutes from my house up country lanes to the local pay and play days, just saves us having to rely on my mate with the trailer.
Added some wheel arches too, just got to fix a few electrics and I'll put it in for a test and see what happens.
