Removing diff/rear beam on saff...
I'm not shy of being on the spanners but how easy or difficult is it to remove the diff on a rwd saff cossie?
Do you need to remove the beam to do this?
And if not how easy is the beam to remove after? (I may get it powder coated)
The car will be all up on stands in a garage...
Any info or tips would be appreciated
Cheers Paul

Removing the diff is easy. Just undo the 4 bolts from the prop and 6 bolts for each drive shaft. After that support the diff with a jack and undo the 4 bolts from the diff mount to the chassis. Then you can remove the 4 short bolts and 1 long bolt that mount the diff to the beam.

Yeah it'll all be safe on the stands etc, not a problem 👍
