Default Engine storage

Ive just bought a rs2000 engine and box as it was cheap. Ill probably keep it for a spare. Whats the best way to store it? Drain all the oil out or not?

The oil would just be sat in the sump anyway so it won't make much difference. I've never left oil in an engine when storing it.

Particles in old oil can be corrosive so I would drain and maybe stick some fresh in there if you wanted to. Maybe a tea spoon of oil in the bores and turn the engine a couple of times by hand too.
