Burton Has a supply of ford alternators. As for the pump if it was working just flush it out.

Most motor factors can get recon exchange alternators

I took my power steering pump apart jay as it stopped pumping fluid. Its just a paddle wheel inside with lots of vains that move out to pump to oil as it spins. Euros do alternaters as Clayton just got a couple for the 3drs he has just brought

With mine it wasn't pumping so the steering was really stiff I think wear it had stood the tiny vains and stuck in there housing once I'd taken it apart cleaned and oiled it it worked fine

Worth taking apart and having a look if I remeber right the cap on the end needs pushing in a little by doing it up in a vice with a socket pushing on it so you can then remove the retaining clip. Theres a fair bit too it so you have to watch the order thing come apart in

There on a class pumps ignition feed live the pump regulates it's own pressure and the bottle is built into it then it feeds and returns too and from the rack via aero quip pipes with the mk -6 rack fittings
