Well there's still the speakers to sort out!!!!

I'm sure they'll manage another half a dozen at least over the next year or 2.

Agreed.

That's why I like Mighty Car Mods as well.

People doing things how they want to do it and not by production companies.

Superb engineering skills, great presentation and guys, but thoroughly wasted on the project they are actually building! The man hours alone that have gone on just the jigs etc that will be useless for any other project once this one is completed.

Applied to the right concept then the end result could be amazing.

I'm sorry mate......but this is amazing....it may never be a mass produced conversion but who cares....these guys obviously love what they do, that to me makes this thoroughly worthwhile.

The only parts of the jig that wont be reusable are the attachments to the body.

Everything else is universal it's all bolted together.

I can imagine they built it with the next, yet to be announced project in mind.

Not knocking their passion one iota, but its an old mini at the end of the day with old celica running gear, fantastically engineered but the end result will achieve very little.

Using a slightly larger, more modern shell from another donor and better running gear they could have built a formidable car worthy of the time and effort that has gone into this one for pretty much the same cost.

They spent so many hours on little jigs for little things that make no really difference to the car. All good to watch but that's not the point of what they are doing

I know we all waste time on stuff we love but the thinking they do to achieve this current built could have produced quite a weapon.

Their aim was to take their falling apart celica and transplant the running gear into their mini that needed a resto. They're not making it for any other reason apart from the fact that they wanted to.

They started the project with a small budget and never expected it to get this famous amongst car enthusiasts, so i guess a massive 1000bhp build was never their goal.

will be interesting to see how fast it is when finished, they always have the option of squeezing more power from that engine if they feel that they need it.

Have they decided on a colour yet? Can't remember if it's been mentioned at any point in the series.

Looking forward to the next instalment.

I used to like watching Roadkill as well, that was an interesting show but since they went over from youtube to motortrend on demand its unwatchable. The site/app is garbage.

If you want to see how bad it is then try watch one of the free episodes for road kill.

First time I tried to watch the vette cart episode and it went as follows

2:00 - 2 ads
1x reload
7.00 - 2 ads
12.00 - 2 ads
17.00 - 2 ads
22.00 - 2 ads
27.00 - 2 ads
32.00 - 2 ads

and I know its roadkill but its a shame to see the vette cart that worse for wear. Last comment but isn't setting brake cleaner on fire (or is it just brake fluid) like really bad for your health, from memory I think its the fluid thats seriously bad.

I tried watching the stretched dragster episode and I can't get past the second ad, it just keeps taking me to the f* Kia page (for that alone i'll never buy a Kia)

Motortrend themselves don't care, if you check the facebook pages 90% of comments are negative about the site/the app.

I pay for it (have done for coupe of years) and get no ads whatsoever and never have done.

It's WELL worth it as Roadkill Garage is often just as good.
