Default please help me chose a car

My Fiesta ST182 is no more so I need another car. I have an import mx5 for track days / sunny days (currently in bits)

Stuff I've had I liked: 328 msport, 2013 fiesta ecoboost, 2014 fiesta st, 318is, lots of mx5s, E320 petrol

Some points:

I'm currently doing 12-15k a year (private mileage)
Budget is ideally a couple of grand but willing to go higher.
I hate diesel - I really really hate diesel - I think I need a diesel frown
I need to move myself and sometimes other stuff but rarely anything big - no kids/pets

I'd like:
30mpg is bareable as long as its fairly quick / good to drive
Heated seats
Bluetooth - happy to change the stereo if it doesn't mean rewiring the car (ie very modern stuff)

Also:
Would be great to be able to tow a tonne or so (think mx5 on a lightish trailer)
Be quick and handle well
Ideally Be rwd / awd

Hit me with suggestions. The cheaper the car (to buy and maintain to a good standard) the less I'm worried about fuel / tax / insurance

Well seeing as you hate diesel i'd be inclined to go with a 3.0 version of BMW's E91 325i. 220bhp so it will be decent and on a run should turn in high 20's low 30's mpg.

Good cars, sound lovely and will do what you're asking.
