Default mondeo St tdci clutch

My clutch and flywheel has just gone on my st tdci so I'm changing to solid flywheel kit. I know I need to use the 2.2 transit flywheel but my question is does anyone know what clutch kit to use? Do I just use the full transit solid conversion kit or just the flywheel with a new mondeo clutch.

Cheers

They sell the 2.2 kit on eBay. Can you let me know how you get on with the solid flywheel when it's fitted? I need to do mine very soon.

If it's your own car I would stick with a dual mass one, twice I've fitted solid flywheel kits to other peoples mondeo's and both times were a disaster, terrible vibrations and very harsh clutch bite.

My mate works at a local ford specialist. All he does is mondeo flywheels/clutchs. He says the tdci are fine on a solid flywheel and only seen a issue after fitting when there a worn mount ect. but he says they don't fit solid on the 2.2 as they don't like them at all and drive aweful.

Yeah I've heard conflicting story's about fitting solid flywheels. Some say there fine with slight vibration and others say there horrid. Tbh the car isn't worth forking out £600+ on new duel mass and fitting etc but the £150 for solid conversion I don't mind lol
