Hi,

I have a mk4 escort cab - pics -





The roof leaks on the part where the front end of the glass meets the roof. The roof is in very good condition. it does it on both sides. I've tightened the clamps but it made little to no difference.. Is there a guide somewhere?

Thankfully it lives in the garage but its still a pain in the arse.

Sometimes the window going up to high will push the rubbers up too much and course water to come in so chances are they need changing as they are just out of shape. I'm pretty sure East Kent trim supplies make replacements so maybe give them a call

But unfortunately they all leak to some degree lol

do you mean the door glass? you can fine adjust the windows so they close under the rubbers

Mine used to leak when I first got it under heavy rain but after adjusting both door window mechanisms it's now water tight and has been since the job was done.

it seems to come in between the top of the door and the top of the windscreen - where the two meet. there like a large rubber bit where the roof / door / windscreen meet and it leaks there.
