Default Stock Fiesta LX 97

Hello everyone,

I need some advice on where to start with modifying my car. I have a 97 Fiesta 1.25 LX and want to make it look a bit classier and go a bit faster. Any ideas where to start?

My car is basically the exact same as this: http://parkers.bauercdn.com/Images/C...997_fiesta.jpg

Are there any photos on here of the same model that have been modified?

Welcome along.

I had a 4 door 1.25 MK4 as my first car, cracking little thing it was. Nice and simple, took the bump strips off the doors, debadged the front grille, 60mm springs on some Capri 4 spokes, it somehow worked!
Ended up stripping the interior too, then it was a lot of fun to throw around, none of my friends in their 1.4 Polos/Saxos etc could get anywhere near me.

Sounds good, those bump strips look horrible on every car imo. I don't know whether changing the fiesta would be better than getting another mk1 focus and modifying that. I really want to make my car my own, but it's hard to choose what Ford to get D: haha

Is yours a more-door as well?

Not many mk4's get tinkered with, but I prefer the front end to the mk5's.

Yeah 5 door version. I dunno if I like 3-door more (probably do). And yeah I kilda like the facelift on the mk5. need to think this out. Don't wanna go out and spend a bunch of money that'll end up with me having a ricer.
