Hi All,

I am not a small guy and like my grub so as you can imagine the Recaros are a little bit on the tight side on my RS Turbo.

Are the Sierra recaros wider / bigger and would they offer more comfort lol!

i would say they are slightly bigger... however i think it all depends on the previous owners size! lol

I just thought with it being a bigger car and a full size car that the seats would have been bigger? but what do I know! Just wish I knew for sure before buying a set then realising it was pointless!

they are bigger im a fat bastard and i fit well in cossie recaros but am a little uncomfortable in rs turbo recaros, the cossie ones may slightly foul the doors of an rs turbo though they will deffo fit you will have to swap the seat runners over

Sierra recaros are larger than rs turbo ones.
Should be easy to fit tho, I managed a full set of sapphire cossy seats into my MK1 Escort

A member of our local rsoc group is an auto trimmer and he told me they are dimensionally the same as I thought the sierra seat was larger

So from that you are saying that they are the exact same size or is the seat part wider,

Does anyone know for sure before I part with the cash lol, Bit of conflicting info hahaha

a local bloke had a s2 years ago with cossie interior fitted front and back. so they def fit in the escort, not sure how much modifications were needed though.i remember the seats sitting tight against the door panels but not enough to damage anything.

They are definately longer and im 99% sure slightly wider.

Fact: if you remove the support from underneath the seat base on both seats, the sierra one is longer and has extra hooks - so that proves they are longer.

If you fit a sierra seat in an escort, it hits off the door pocket on the door card when door is closed, so i'd say they are wider....

they are 100% wider i have had both, i fit inbetween the bolsters nicely on a cossie seat but i sit on them in an rs turbo seat

I know the steel backrest chassis is the same size between S2 and sapphire cosworth. I used S2 backrest parts to convert saph seats to tilt forwards.
