On mine by the time i have pulled up took belt off sterio out disk lock on etc get out car & then just turn it off! tend to take the last bit of the journey a lil bit easier!

Had a turbo timer fitted to the escort but never used it much! as it took 30mins to power everythin down in the fookin thing! lap top wasnt the quickest! unless i was hsowin off of course then i used it! nothin like walkin away from your pride & joy while its still runnin!

1) Yes, I assume so, I always where possible take the last leg of my journey steady + off boost, then leave it idling for a bit when stopped. Obviously if it's just got a serious ragging then leave it ticking over for a few min's, I have seen the turbo glow red before so would assume it's best left running to cool down!!

Errr, yer, don't think my girlfriend is too happy with me moaning about being skint + then blowing loads on the car when I first got it!!

Supposedly, Bluefin gives around 25BHP but combined with de-cat it pretty much doubles Add the rest of the Mongoose and K&N Gen II filter (supposedly gives good results as the cone is located at the bottom of the bumper NOT sucking in warm air) then you should get around 260-265BHP. Mine feels like a different car to be honest mate.

I defo think you need to de-cat it with the Bluefin.
