As above - does it fit?

I have a complete mk2 2l silvertop mondeo I am changing the parts out of and putting into my mk4 escort Bonus. currently has a 4 speed box!

 

Mtx box in the mondeo...
It's not a straight swap...

 

ok - would i need additional parts to what i already have? (ie - 1.4 4 speed bonus gbox and shafts etc)

Can be made to fit but not a easy job. Will need drive shafts and new mounts.

 

Best and easiest box to us would be S2 RS Turbo box so you have LSD.

Any mk4 Escort box and shafts will fit though...your 4spd box, shafts and starter will work fine although not ideal!

Can't remember exactly but you will prob have to change clutch and maybe flywheel but the box bolts straight on.

it currently has a 2l zetec in there with a 4 speed but the engine is dead ( well.. v bad hg failure and a scored block) so bought a mondeo to drop the whole lump in.
