What will it take to get that sort of power out of one? I'm asking on behalf of a friend, and I (someone correct me if I'm wrong here) the standard inlet won't flow enough for that. Any ideas what is required? My guess was ITBs along with an ecu, head porting (stanhard sized valves), fast road cams (shawspeed ss4?), decent manifold and exhaust. Wil the standard bottom end cope with that?

Itbs and a set of ss4 cams a decent exhaust should see 160-170 don't think you need the head ported thought

You'll need a damn good exhaust and ex manifold to do that but yes shawspeed ss4 cams will get you there, also looks at valve springs and rod bolts, if you are on a 3rd party Ecu and can raise the std rev limit you'll just about do 160.

As above, you'll only just about touch 160 with the spec mentioned.

LS4's are an alternative, I can't remember whether they're as aggressive as SS4's though.
Definitely look into aftermarket management.

U will need minimum of strengthened bottom end bolts ARP OR THE LIKE

Arp don't make, or didn't last time I did it, but shawspeed can supply the rod bolts
