mods, please dont move this for tonight as i really need the code to a radio i have got as i took the battery of the wifes car and forgot about the raido DOH

does anyone know how i can get the code without going to fords and paying stupid money?

possibly

it involves taking top off radio and a few pins from the serial port of a pc onto a few pins on one of the chips

then software reads the code off the chip.

someone shud have it, but then u got prolly distance issues where it would maybe be cheaper to drive to someone in ur local town and get them to do it in 5 mins.

I have a radio decoding disc , i think you just need the model number and serial number

yeah try the old "wifes tale" put it in the freezer or was it fridge ? and that will make all codes useless

Have you tried a Ford dealer? They will prob want silly money, but if you can find someone helpful (yeh,dream on! ) you might be ok...

Where i used to work could do it thru the Ford computer for free... Might be worth a try.
