Default HELP

I have just been given finance on a 2010 focus rs. I know this should b a good thing bit I am worried about running costs, service costs and above all not having a garage to put it in. I am looking for any information from someone who knows about how much these cars costs or any information that would put my mind at ease. Thanks.

I did do some research but all the info differs on different pages so I thought it would be sensible to talk to someone who has experience with fuel and service costs. Insurance is not a problem as I am 28 and have 10 years no claims.

22mpg, £250 for a full service, for a good tyre you are looking at £350 a pair and will last 8000 miles if you are lucky.

I would strongly advise against being £20,000 in debt for a ford focus but it's up to you!

Thanks for the feedback it's much appreciated . I ended up with a deal on the car which included 2 years warranty which covers the turbo 2 services 2 mot and breakdown cover. With my deposit I owe just over 18000 does that sound like a good deal????????

Being even 18k in debt for a Ford focus would make me be sick through my nose personally, however if you can easily afford the repayments, the interest charge does not put you off and you have guaranteed job security then go for it.

Being in hock for £18k on a Focus - personally, not a good idea mate. You'll be the wrong way on it until you're 2/3 of the way through paying for it, so if you do go through with it you'll be keeping it for a while. Or take a bath when you settle it.

As said though, if you can afford it and can afford to maintain it properly (which preserves residuals) then why not ?
