Toy car...
Right I'm getting shot off my BMW F31 330d as due to slight change in job I will be getting company car.
As a result and because of going to Combe the realisation of a "weekend" toy as come to forefront. I will not be in a position until the end of the year however at the moment thinking of a Escort cosworth (v nice spec) or a e90 m3. The escort cosworth is a possible as now of nice one which could be possible and thinking if cared for they will now not lose any money.. E90 m3 very nice car which can play about with, however always got in my mind they are still in stage of losing a lot of money..
Any ideas of anything else? 2 seater car not an option.

I'd be tempted by a well modified R33 GTR at that price,

The E92 M3 is an amazing car, especially with the DCT gearbox. However, with the new M3/M4 just being released I suspect E92 prices will be set to take a dive soon, but that might well work out well for your time scale.
Have you looked at a Porsche Cayman otherwise? Very good cars.
